Representatives from Shanghai Bi Ke Clean Energy Technology Co came to Changxing Island district, Dalian, Liaoning province, for a study and conducted communication and discussions on cooperation in the petrochemical sector on March 21.
Accompanied by district official Li Huimin, the delegation visited the Xizhong Island petrochemical industrial park and Hengli Petrochemical (Dalian) Co.
Li Huimin introduced the park's layout, planning, and supporting functions as well as its project construction progress.
The industrial park aims to build a world petrochemical production base in 2013. With good natural conditions and supportive policies, the park has attracted many Global 500 companies.
Shanghai Bi Ke Clean Energy Technology Co showed a strong interest in cooperation in the petrochemical sector, and the company also expounded on its development strategy and implementation model.
Jointly established by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and British Petroleum (BP), Shanghai Bi Ke Clean Energy Technology Co promotes the commercialization of clean energy to reduce China’s reliance on petroleum and emission of carbon dioxide by extending the olefin industry.
