Taiwan’s Sun cake, Pineapple Cake and Kaoliang Spirit, Haerbin’s Red Sausage, Kitakyushu’s Mayonnaise, all these gourmet could be found at 2011 Dalian International Food Fair, which opened on Thursday, May 12 at Dalian Xinghai Convention and Exhibition Center.
A local cousumer is purchasing the Taiwan Sun cake.
Although the event is being held for the first time in Dalian, the exhibitors from 15 countries and regions as well as 20 domestic provinces came and attended. The exhibition area reaches 15,000 square meters with more than 600 standard booths.
Lin Guoliang, chairman with Taiwan Agricultural Products Marketing Association, leading 40 dealers with more than 300 items of agricultural products participates in the fair, making Taiwan delegation the largest pavilion of the expo.
Dalian’s well-known local food such as top grade beef, sea cucumber and Big Bone Chicken are also on display at the fair, and all of them win the popularity by the locals. The Food Safety Lecture will also be offered to the participators free of charge at the exposition.
