Dalian mayor Li Wancai met up with Andre Clem Davis, CEO of America Honeywell Specialty Materials Group, and his delegation on October 20 in the evening.
The two sides exchanged views on the company’s investment plan in Dalian. The group has signed a business project with a company in Dalian to invest in and construct a petrochemical project in Dalian’s Changxing Island Harbor Industrial Zone.
Honeywell Specialty Materials Group, headquartered in Morris Township, New Jersey, provides high-performance specialty materials, including fluorine chemicals, specialty films and additives, advanced fibers and composites, intermediates, specialty chemicals, electronic materials and chemicals, and oil refining technology and materials.
During the meeting, Li said Dalian is China's largest oil refining base. The city is making great efforts to improve and extend its petrochemical industrial chain and expand the scale of its industry.
The Dalian Municipal government and its perfectly competent departments will provide high-quality services to make the Honeywell project progress smoothly, he added.
